Surprise! The kiddos will be meeting a bunch of different monsters, creatures, species and more while they venture through their training. So don’t fret! This constantly updating journal will remind everyone of what they met and their threat levels.

Talking Mushrooms

They are stationary mushrooms that come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Just like a normal mushrooms, some are poisonous while others aren’t. Regardless, these little guys are littered all over Layer One and in the Barrier. Since these little guys don't have a brain, they don’t really come up with their own thoughts and opinions. What they do instead is repeat what they hear. Over the years, these mushrooms have developed a reputation of being gossipers and starting rumors. So be careful of what you say around them. Fun fact, they squeak when you sit on them.

Kraken

The Kraken is a 148 feet long from head to tip of his tenticles. The Kraken lives in the first layer were the weakest point of the barrier is located at; the bermuda triangle. The Kraken is a gentle giant that has a deep love of gathering the strange trinkets that comes through the barrier. Every airplane, ship, and device that has gone missing in the bermuda triangle has ended up in the first layer of the world with the Kraken. The giant hords all his belongings and has a life long goal of trying to figure out how humans put ships into bottles. He has tried and he has failed. He also has a deep love for older technology.

Ramdas Qadir

Ramdas Qadir is a former Elite from the Witch society and father to the fire mentor Nara Qadir. When Ramdas was caught "cheating" on his wife, his wife transformed him into a cat with three tails. She then sealed a binding contract between Ramdas and their daughter which condemned him to trapped as a cat. In order to make the most out of the situation, Ramdas decided to guard hi daughter on her new life journey. Despite the man/cat being know as one of the more powerful Witches of the Witch society, Ramdas chooses to not use his abilities. Instead, he just wants to be the lazy sassy house cat for the school. Think of Ramdas as this stories Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Fairy Rings

Fairy Rings are rings (made out of rocks and mushrooms) that can be found randomly in the earth and air land. Despite these rings being beautiful to look at, do not interact with them! If someone touches them or steps into the rings, they will be paralyzed and their fate will be left in the hands of the feral mini mushroom tribe.

Gremlins

Flail Snail Mailman

The Flail Snail Mailman is literally a large snail about four feet tall with eyes shaped as flails. This local mailman is known for bringing mail in a great time, but there comes a catch to his services. The Snailman has a jetpack system (installed by your truly -John Hallowade-) which allows him to zoom from one location to another in a blink of an eye. Unfortunately, the system isn’t precise and is dangerous around people so the Flail Snail Mailman has to shut off his system and his Flash like speed returns to his normal slowmo pace.

Kappa

Kappa's are four feet tall bipedal turtles that with a funny habbit of calling everyone their 'cousins'. They are mellow and down to earth creatures that have a skill of getting important information out of people due to their friendly apperence and conversations. They are social creatures that wonder the fire/water land as well as the earth/air land. Despite the Kappa race being approchable, the Kappa's have a nasty gambling addiction. They only every gamble when they know that they'll win, and they will win by cheating.

Anansi

Anansi are a dying race of spider hybrid creatures that live in the Earth and Air kingdom. The Anansi are an ancient species that evolved over time to have two gifts instead of one. Their natural born ability is that the Anansi can inject a venom into their opponents body that will result in their opponent being drained of energy, powers, and life; if the venom remains in their system for an undetermined period of time. This ability was originally used as a defense mechanism for the species, but as the years past and the race was hunted for their exotic pelt, the venom became their primary attack. As the race dwindled in numbers, the Anansi also developed a camouflaging ability that didn't hide them in their surroundings but instead allowed them to take on the form of any person, plant, or object. Due to this newly developed ability, the Anansi are difficult to find and rumor has it that the physical forms they take are the apperences of their latest victim.

Dragons

According the to the witch society, dragons existed since the dawn of time and were the backbone of their society. Dragons were among the first creatures of the world that learned how to manipulate magic and adapt to the different elements. Dragons taught the witches how to use magic and sparked the start of the magical world. Of course this is unconfirmed information but witches claims that it’s true. Little is known about what occured to the Dragons but rumors say that the Witch Rebellion was lead by a man who befriended the Dragons. The Dragons fought along side with the traitor and the society deemed that the cost of their betrayal was the death. Since the war, no one has seen a dragon. The world believes that they are extinct.
