We look at the world around us and live out our normal everyday lives but what if, there was a flip side? One that only legends speak of. One full of magic.

Millions of years ago, a war broke out over the control of a gift from a Goddess. The premise of the war infuriated the Goddess and so she decided to seperate the two sides of the war. The citizens that were pro-magic were left in their world while the citizens who were anti-magic were thrown into a mirror realm. The mirror realm was basically an identical copy of their original world except it didn't have magic. Besides that, it almost seemed like the Goddess didn't do anything major but in reality she did. When she created the mirror realm, a strange white-ish void appeared between the two worlds that acted like a barrier. The barrier prevented the worlds from touching or interacting with one another.

Our story takes place in the original world, also know as Layer One, the mirror realm, also known as Layer Two, and inside the barrier.

LAYER ONE

Arrow left by Drawn-Mario These are the main locations in Layer One that the story will focus on Arrow right by Drawn-Mario

Fire & Water Land

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Fire and Water land consists of a dozen separated islands ranging anywhere from 12 miles (19.3 km) to 93 miles (150 km) in length. Each island includes two different cities. One city is located on land and features greeble architecture. The second city is located underwater and is more natural in appearance with homes carved into their surroundings. The citizens of this land live in the second city (the water city) and work in the first city (the greeble architecture city). The air quality of the working city has gone down significantly, so residents retreat to the waters to live and breath in a healthier environment. There is a drastic difference between the two cities. The working city on land consists of never ending metals, and smoke. While the underwater cities consist of brightly colored fish and aquatic plants, making the water land more aesthetically pleasing.

Earth & Air Land

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Earth and Air land consist of a cluster of islands that are located in a air tunnel. The air tunnel constantly pushes air upwards keep the islands levitated. The only way on and off of the island is by using the the shuttle blimps provided by the Fire and Water land. The Earth and Air lands consist of dense forests where the Hybrid citizens carve out trees to create their homes. There are countless of rope bridges, candles, and ladders all through out the land. The Madremonte citizens, on the other hand, use rocks to create ritual locations and carve out elaborate homes underground.

Light & Dark Land

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Light and Dark land is known for being the most mysterious location out of all the lands. The reason why is because citizens fear the unknown so no one wonders into the dark. If someone was brave enough to enter the misty mountain they would discover that the inside of the mountains are littered with luminescent crystals, fireflies and bioluminescent plants. The floors of the mountains are covered in sand that leaves colorful imprints and the walls have simplistic murals made of stones and mud. The entire inside of the mountain is a labyrinth. Some paths will lead to dead ends while others will lead to the top of the moutain where a small pool of water and a crystal resides. When a light source hits the crystal, a rainbow collage reflects throughout the inside of the mountains.

Mind & Body Land

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Mind and Body land is a large desert known for its beautiful clear sand and blistering heat. Due to the abundance of clay in the sand, all the buildings are made out of clay and are decorated with colorful tiles that were imported from the Fire and Water land. The Witchling city (which is the only major city in the land) is a circular city that takes up most of the desert. The outskirts of the city have more lopsided and squished buildings while the heart of the city hold a beautiful palace. The palace located in the center of the city is the witchling school. It is mandatory that all citizen attend the school to learn combat. The Body and Mind land is known for being the most colorful land with countless of decorations.

LAYER TWO

Arrow left by Drawn-Mario These are the main locations in Layer Two that the story will focus on Arrow right by Drawn-Mario

Hawaii

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Hawaiian islands are the base terrain for the Fire and Water Land. The island that most of the recruits in both Layers of the world will spend time on is specifically Hawaii. Hawaii, also called the Big Island, is composed of five volcanoes; with Mauna Kea being the largest. The average climate of the Hawaiian islands is generally about 75 °F (24 °C) annually and can shift depending on the time of the day and rainfall. Much like other islands, the economy of Hawaii transformed from an agricultural economy to a tourist industry in the early 20th century. That means that there are plenty of people, beaches, food, and tourist attractions for the recruits to see.

Congo Rainforest

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Congo Rainforest is the base terrain for the Earth and Air Land. The Rainforest is over 1.5 million square kilometers long and is the home to over 2,100 different species. Much like its namesake, the Congo Rainforest is known for its warm temperatures and heavy rainfall. Despite the Rainforest mostly being inhabited by animals, there are several tribes that live among the trees. The most famous of the tribes are the Pygmies people. This means that there is mostly rain, heat, and animal scat in this land so the recruits better bring rainboots.

Bolivia Salt Flats

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Bolivia Salt Flats is the base terrain for the Light and Dark Land. The Bolivia Salt Flats, also known as Salar de Uyuni, is a flat location that spans out to be 10,582 kilometers long. Due to its size, the Bolivia Salt Flats are known to be the biggest salt flat in the world. Despite the lands being bare, the location is a large tourist attraction due to the land's resemblance to a giant mirror. Surprisingly, this location isn't just a tourist trap for humans, it also is for birds! Over 80 species of birds, including three types of flamingos, come to visits the world's mirror every year. That means that despite there not being much to do on the flats, the views are priceless so the recruits should pack some cameras.

Agra

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The city of Agra, located in India, is the base terrain for the Mind and Body Land. Agra houses over 1.4 million people who live in anywhere from 122°F (50°C) to 37.4°F (3°C) temperatures. Besides the city being a busy location known for its shoe production and food, many people use Agra as a tourist location to visit the Taj Mahal or the Badalgarh. Much like any other city in the world, Agra hosts some forms of technology, transportation, shopping locations and more. Out of all the locations that the recruits will be visiting in Layer Two, Agra is the only location that has a connection to the modern world. That means that all recruits better prepare for warm temperatures and texting.

THE BARRIER

Guardian Training School

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The guardian Training School is located on an island that's suspended inside the barrier. The following locations are on the island. Every location is available for the recruits unless otherwise stated.

Starry Night Lounge

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate A large circular room with mosaic flooring and a mural ceiling. Many who walk through the room claim that they feel as if they are walking through the night sky and look up to see the wonders of the earth shifting with time. Within the room there are holographic stars that hover in the air. the holographic stars are the only source of light in the room and they brighten or darken the room depending on the time of the day. among the stars are faint clouds that drift around the room. the clouds are the only source of seating, but be careful! those suckers are slippery.

Mess Hall

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The mess hall takes up the entire base floor of the east wing. that means every student and staff can comfortably fit within this family style eating area. unlike the starry night lounge, the mess hall contains large arching windows that allow the staff and students to enjoy the many wonders of the world. meaning, each window of the room can be linked up to a users MiTH and can project live images of different locations within the first and second layers of the world. this program was set up in order to allow every student to have a sense of home as they eat. besides the ever changing windows, the room holds a gothic architect style with high ceilings and numerous of pillars that line the walls. just be warned, the room does get noisy when everyone is getting their grub on.

Crystal Training Grounds

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The training rooms are as large as a football field and filled with brightly colored crystals. each colored crystal represents a different element. due to the research and experimentations from johnathon hallowade, the crystals are the newest addition to the school grounds and the perfect mixture of technology and magic from the two layers. the purpose of the crystals are to help train students.

Botanical Garden

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The botanical garden is one of the few locations within the school that each element plays a prominent role in creating tranquility. the botanical garden is located next to the green house in the west wing of the school. the garden has miniature rock waterfalls, a lazy river that dips into a lake, candles, plush pillows, benches, umbrellas, wind chimes, and -of course- plants of all shape and sizes. the botanical garden is open to the staff and students 24/7 but only those who are trained are allowed to mess with the garden, redesign the japanese sand garden, or feed the animals. similar to the starry night lounge, the gardens is another popular hangout location for members of the school.

Library

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The Library is a library. Inside its walls are centuries of documentation from Layer One and Layer Two. Students can come here to do research.

Four Dorm Locations

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate There are four dorms inside the school. Students who don’t live in the dorm are allowed to visit but cannot spend the night, they must return to their dorms in order to be accounted for.

Hospital Wing

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The hospital wing is for the fools who get injured. MiTH is the lead nurse. Treat MiTH well.

MITH's Server Room

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The server room is filled with databases full of information from both Layers. At the core of the room is a holographic AI known as the multifunctional information transmission hub (AKA MITH). MITH controls the flow of data and is the main source of power for the school. MITH is linked to almost everything in the school, so students should utilize MITH for its knowledge but students are not allowed in server room unless otherwise stated.

Classrooms

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate There are normal classrooms located through out the school. They have standard tables with stools for seats.

Bathrooms

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate Bathrooms are everywhere. From the dorms to the hallways so there is no reasons for kids to going anywhere else. The main difference between the dorm bathrooms and the hallway bathrooms is that the dorms hold shower stalls while the hallways do not.

Laundry Rooms

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The laundry rooms are attached to the dorms. So recruits, do your laundry you stanky kids.

Star Observatory

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate Go look at the stars, they're beautiful.

Portal Room

Pixel: Blue Star by apparate The portal room is a large room with multiple stone like doors etched into the walls. On the doors are strange markings that glow when the door are activated. How to activate the doors are easy, ask MITH to open a portal to the location you desire and the door will show a live feed of the location requested. Once the image is there, the user simply walk through it and they'll end up in that location. Similar to MITHs server room, the portal room is not a public location and those found inside will be severly punished.
